Cauldron #5 — LaborBerlin
Cauldron é um programa desenvolvido no âmbito do SPECTRAL, no qual a Cooperativa Laia convida um laboratório parceiro internacional para exibir os trabalhos e investigações produzidas no contexto destes espaços dedicados à imagem em movimento em formato analógico e geridos por artistas. Para o Cauldron #5, as artistas Luisa Greenfield e Bernd Lützeler estarão no Porto para exibir obras desenvolvidas no LaborBerlin.
A 26.03.2025, às 19h15, decorre no Batalha Centro de Cinema uma sessão que passará por um conjunto de filmes desenvolvidos por artistas parte do LaborBerlin.
Cauldron is a programme developed within SPECTRAL, in which Laia co-op invites an international partner laboratory to exhibit the works and research produced in the context of these spaces dedicated to moving image in analog format and led by artists. For Cauldron #5, artists Luisa Greenfield and Bernd Lützeler will be in Porto to exhibit works developed at the LaborBerlin.
On 26.03.2025, at 19h15, takes place at Batalha Cinema Center a screening that will pass through a set of films developed by artists part of the LaborBerlin.

LaborBerlin é um laboratório de cinema organizado coletivamente em Berlim, aberto a todas as pessoas interessadas em trabalhar com filme fotoquímico com uma abordagem experimental e DIY. Membros do laboratório realizam workshops regulares, exibições de filmes e exposições e atuam como uma plataforma para a troca de ideias e experiências em torno da prática e do espírito do cinema analógico. O LaborBerlin faz parte de uma rede internacional de laboratórios de cinema geridos por artistas e colabora frequentemente com vários realizadores e organizações de todo o mundo.

LaborBerlin is a collectively organised film laboratory in Berlin, open to everyone interested in working with photochemical film with an experimental and DIY approach. Lab members conduct regular workshops, film screenings and exhibitions, and act as a platform for exchange of ideas and experiences around the practice and spirit of analogue filmmaking. LaborBerlin is part of an international network of artist-run film labs and frequently collaborate with various filmmakers and organisations from around the world.
